YDL U13 & U15 16th June 2024

Youth Development League, Lower Age Group, Fixture 3 – Sunday 16th June 2024

The form below is for U13 and U15 athletes who would like to compete in the third and final YDL fixture of the season on Sunday 16th June.

YDL is a prestigious competition giving athletes the opportunity and experience to compete against other high-level athletes in their age group from clubs in the Midlands. The format is similar to Mini League but only 2 athletes participate in each event, with the exception of 75m/100m/800m where 2 additional (non-scoring) athletes can participate. Where we have more requests for places than we have capacity, we will revert to Power of 10 for place allocation and will try and accommodate as many athletes’ requests as possible.

The event will take place at South Kesteven stadium, Grantham from 11am (more details re parking etc to follow).
The timetable is below and it is free to enter for U13 and U15.
Closing date for entries is 6pm on Sunday 9th June 2024..

Athletes can choose 3 events from the lists below, and have the opportunity to take part in a relay too.
Athletes are not allowed to compete in both 800m and 1200m/1500m at the same meeting.

Co-hosting: RAC are unable to host a YDL event & so co-host with another club each season. We are co-hosting with Notts Lincs Alliance, which means we need loads of volunteers. Please consider volunteering - it is the usual process of signing the volunteering sheet on arrival & being at the event 10 mins before it's due to start. More information to follow in what's required in addition to Discus Throw U15B, Javelin Throw U15B and LJ U15B
