Summer Mini League Track and Field
The Summer Mini-League series encompasses all the usual track & field events, although distances are adjusted for the younger athletes, so there is 80m sprint instead of 100m and 150m instead of 200m etc. Athlete can choose up to 3 events plus a relay. These are very much bring the family and a picnic events. The more competitors we have, the more points we score…simples!
So if you’re an U11, U13 or U15, and enjoy running, jumping and throwing come and join Team RAC.
When: Four fixtures during April, May, June and July each year. One fixture per month.
Where: Nottinghamshire
Ages: U11 to U15

Nottinghamshire County Track and Field Championships
The Nottinghamshire County Championships, held in May, is open to U13 athletes and above who are club members. The country championships are an important part of the summer calendar and we would encourage athletes to make the most of this competitive opportunity.
The even offers a range of track and field events for U13, U15, U17, U20, Senior, and Veterans. Held over two days each year at either Harvey Hadden, Nottingham or Moorways, Derby. We have a great turnout each year and come away with a sack full of medals. Bring a picnic and enjoy the weather we’ve ordered sun.
When: May each year
Where: Nottinghamshire, Harvey Hadden or Derbyshire, Moorways. Rotates each year.
Ages: U13 to Seniors
Entry Cost: Covered by the Athlete. Athletes to self-register.

Youth Development League
The YDL is a prestigious national competition giving athletes the opportunity and experience to compete against other high level athletes in their age group from clubs in the East Midlands. It is a track and field event offering a range of running, throwing and jumping events. There are two league structures – the lower age group (LAG) for U13 and U15 athletes and upper age group (UAG) for U17 and U20.
When: 3 Fixtures per league across April, May and June each year.
Where: Fixtures across the midlands. From Nuneaton to Grantham
Ages: U13 to U20
