NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE MATCH 2 - Sunday 29th May
    ATHLETES ENTRY

    Date: Sunday 29th May
Venue: YMCA Village, Newark. Lord Hawke Way, NG24 4FH
Time:  10:30 start for field events
               11:30 start for track events

The new Nottinghamshire Development League is open to all athletes in the U17 age group (School year 10 and 11) and above.  For those senior and master athletes within the club this is the ideal opportunity to compete locally.  All masters will use the appropriate weights/hurdle for their age group instead of the usual senior weights/heights.
You are more than welcome to compete in more than one event.

U17s are restricted to entering no more than three events plus one relay.
U20s may compete in any five events. U17 and U20s may compete alongside each other and seniors / masters in amalgamated events.
Women’s races will be run before Men’s races.
Men and Women may compete alongside each other in amalgamated events.

    Relay and Parlaaf Rules:
    3 x 1000m Relay (total distance 3km):
Three runners each do 5 x 200m with the total event being 3km.
Runner 1 does 200m and hands to Runner 2. Runner 2 does 200m and hands to Runner 3.
Runner 3 does 200m and hands to Runner 1. This process continues until Runner 3 completes his/her fifth 200m.
If all runners are of equal ability, and can run 200m in 30s, then each runner should run for 30s and have 60s rest.

OFFICIATING - COME AND HAVE A GO!!! - see separate entry form
This is also an exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to have a go at officiating under the supervision of some experience officials from the county. If you could spare a couple of hours on the day we would be grateful for your help and you can try field/timekeeping/track judging. Should you wish to then go onto qualify as a level 1 judge then this all counts towards your experience.
WITHOUT officials there are no competitions !!

IF YOU COMPETED IN MATCH 1 THEN PLEASE BRING YOUR NUMBER FROM THIS EVENT

Closing date for entries is Friday 27th May 2022
