Sports Hall
SportsHall is inside (so is warm) and features all your favourite athletic events, but adapted for the confines of a SportsHall.  So as well as sprints, relay, shot, javelin, long and triple jump, there are also some slightly different events such as Speed Bounce, Chest Push & Vertical Jump.  Athletes can select 3 events plus the relay. It’s a hugely popular event with perhaps 180+ children from the regions clubs attending. It’s a hectic and fast paced event, but with our team being managed by at least 2 RAC coaches everyone knows what they are doing and when.  All the children have a fantastic time and parents are encouraged to stay and be part of the atmosphere and occasionally help out.

When: Five fixtures between September and January each year. One fixture per month.
Where: Oaktree Leisure Centre Mansfield
Ages: U11 to U15
Entry Cost: Covered by the club
Team Managers: Martin Findlay and Amanda Findlay. Contact raccompetitions@gmail.com

If you are an Under 17 (Year 11 & 12), then you can still come and be part of the organising team.  The club gets points for that also.

If you go to the Notts Mini-League Website there is a section where you can check your child’s age category. The U9’s unfortunately only get a 1 lap race.

Parents – We are expecting a bigger team than usual at this seasons SportsHall, so we need your help with crowd control.  Please come, stay, watch and help where possible.  It’s a great and easy way to start getting involved with your child’s club.
